Domino 4.3.1 (October 2020)

See also the fleetcommand-agent Release Notes.

New Features

  • Domino can now be installed and run on the latest versions of OpenShift (OCP 4.4+). To learn more, see the Domino OpenShift documentation in the Domino Administrator Guide.

Upgrades & Enhancements

  • Domino now uses version 11.0.2 of Keycloak.

  • You can now override the shared memory (/dev/shm) limit of 64MB in an execution container to utilize more memory. To learn more, see the Domino Compute Grid documentation in the Domino Administrator Guide.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that caused the Domino UI to become unresponsive if an invalid URI was entered when attempting to import a GitHub repository.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented image size limit errors from being recorded in the Domino build logs.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented scheduled jobs from adding a Spark cluster.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented searching and filtering shared datasets.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented creating datasets through file uploading.

Known Issues

  • A synchronization issue in starting Runs (such as scheduled jobs) causes a small percentage of runs to produce an error with a message in the execution log “Failed to create pod sandbox”.

  • When using an Openshift deployment of Domino, the logs show that the model APIs are not exporting.

  • Project settings are not being properly propagated to Spark clusters.

  • Workspaces that are launched from the "Files" page of a Domino project do not have a scratch space created unless a dataset is added.

  • If you have multiple workspaces with digits in their name, and filter by the digits in the Workspaces dashboard, the list in the table is not accurate.

  • If you have a drop-down list open during the classic workspace launch flow and scroll with it open, it moves with the page and impairs launches.

  • The asset count shows an incorrect value in the Project Portfolio view of the Domino Control Center.

  • Cannot schedule a job when adding a Spark cluster.

  • If you transfer project ownership to an organization, the system throws an error.

  • Launcher users are able to access project files and can import an un-exported file.

  • When you stop a workspace, you can click a button to return to Domino. If you click that button, a new tab opens the Workspace page but another tab opens with a new Workspace too.

  • If you enter an invalid URI in the Import Git Repository dialog, the system hangs.

  • When an image size limit is applied using the com.cerebro.domino.builder.job.environment.imageSizeLimit Central Configuration Setting, the build will fail and the status is set, but there is no information in the build logs.

  • When creating a scheduled job with an on-demand Spark cluster, the job is not scheduled and you receive an error message with the text "error.number".

  • Unable to create datasets through file uploading.
