Compare Jobs

If you want to see how two experiments differed in their inputs and how the changes affected the results that were generated, you can compare the jobs.

Compare jobs
  1. From the navigation pane, click Jobs.

  2. Select the checkboxes for the two Jobs, then click the compare icon.

    A report generates with a summary of the differences between the two jobs.

    If you are tracking execution performance, the comparison view shows the difference between your stats.

    Domino snapshots the state of all the files in the project before the run starts (the inputs) and snapshots the project after the run completes (the outputs). Any files that were added or modified between the input and outputs are considered results.

    Domino highlights the lines in text files that are different:

    Other types of files are rendered side-by-side so you do a visual comparison:

    If Domino cannot render a file, the system provides simple metadata and links to download the versions so you can review them on your own computer:
